Do you treat all mental disorders?
Dr. Kalira is boarded in General Adult Psychiatry and can work with people on a broad range of conditions. The majority of her practice tends to be focused on:
General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry
Ketamine Therapy Evaluations
Psychedelic Medicine
Psychotherapy
Mood Disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD
De-prescribing for Mood Disorders listed above
Withdrawal Management (aka detoxification)
Suboxone prescribing

Do you accept insurance?
While Dr. Kalira does not participate directly with insurance, including Medicare, she is able to provide a detailed receipt for services rendered. This can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement under out-of-network benefits.
It is strongly encouraged you contact your insurance provider beforehand to verify if you qualify for out-of-network benefits and to understand the specifics of your coverage. Your care and clarity in navigating your benefits are a priority.
What are the fees for an appointment?
For Oregon Residents
Comprehensive Intake* $500 / 50 min
Follow up Session $250 / 25 min
For California Residents, please go to Mental Health Center
All paperwork, filling out of forms, and medications refills are completed during a scheduled appointment.
*Depending on the complexity, it is possible, the intake may require an additional session at the rate of $250/half hour.
What days of the week or hours are available?
Dr. Kalira is available for appointments:
Monday through Thursday between 5:30pm-8pm
Every other Monday between 8am-4m
She is not the right fit for people needing regular day time access to their psychiatrist.

What happens in the 10 minute discovery call?
If you have never met Dr. Kalira, please schedule a call.
During the call, Dr. Kalira will be available to talk with you about any questions or concerns you have. If there is a mutual fit, you could proceed with scheduling your intake during that phone call. Completing an intake does not constitute a therapeutic relationship.
